VERDI Gala From Berlin 2000 - Berlin Philharmonic, Abbado (DVD)

This New Year's Eve concert was performed to celebrate the end of the year 2000 and the beginning of the Verdi year of celebrations. The outstanding Berlin Philharmonic, led by maestro Claudio Abbado, commemorates the 100th anniversary of Giuseppe Verdi's passing by performing portions of his greatest work.
