BACH: Cantatas BWV 7, 30, 167 "St. John the Baptist" - LeBlanc/Taylor/Daniels/Montreal Baroque (HYBRID SACD)

In collaboration with the Montreal Baroque Festival, ATMA is launching the publication of a complete Sacred Cantata by Johann Sebastian Bach. This cycle, conducted from the organ by Eric Milnes, takes into account the most recent research in the field, taking the decision to perpetuate the tradition according to which these cantatas were originally sung with one solo voice per part, including the chorales. This collection is the first to present the cantatas in a one-part version and is also released as a hybrid SACD.
