Terres d'Espagne: Organ Music of Spain in The Kingdoms of Philip IV (DE ARAUXO/COELHO/VAN DEN KERCKHOVEN/CORNET) - Damien Colcomb

The Spanish Tiento (Portuguese Tento) and the Flemish Fantasia share similarities in composition due to exchanges between musicians in these lands of the Spanish crown. These mutually influencing pieces are presented side-by-side thanks to the splendid organ of Lorris in Gâtinais (anonymous, 16th and 17th centuries), a French instrument that also bears some Flemish influence.
