These six original albums present a fine view on Grappelli's career from 1937 until the early 1960s. Beginning with 'Quintet Of The Hot Club Of France Featuring Django Reinhardt & Stéphane Grappelli', with recordings from 1937 until 1939 via 'Improvisations' (1957), "Notre ami Django" (1958) and 'Djangology' (1961) on to 'Feeling + Finesse = Jazz' (1962). 'Piano à Gogo' from 1956 also shows what an excellent piano player Grappelli was.
